Sign in, go to Repos, and choose "Connect repo." Authorize the Yanib GitHub App for the repositories you want to connect; your organization may require an administrator’s approval. Signing in is separate from granting repository access. Enable PR Impact Review if you want automatic reviews.

After PR analysis is enabled and the code index is ready, eligible new PRs and new commits trigger a review. GitHub posting must also be enabled. Connecting a repository alone does not enable every review or write setting. Check the repository’s Surfaces → Setup and Impact Review tabs for its current state.

Check repository access, PR analysis and posting settings, indexing progress, and whether the review matches the latest commit. A review can finish while posting is disabled or fails. Impact Review shows recent analyses and supports requesting a new review; you do not need to enter every new PR manually.

No. The current repository is included. In Setup, choose the connected repositories Yanib may inspect for consumers of changes in this source repository. The selection is directional and requires appropriate workspace access. A selected repository only receives a finding when there is supporting evidence.

Yes. Enabled indexing and review features process authorized source code. Model-assisted review can send source diffs and bounded dependency excerpts to Anthropic. AI features use Yanib’s platform account. Read the Privacy Policy before connecting private code.

PR Impact Review currently requires GitHub. GitLab supports other connected-repository workflows, including release communication. GitLab, Google, and email sign-in options do not imply GitLab review support.

When you publish a release (tag) on GitHub, our webhook picks it up. Yanib pulls your commits and merged PRs between the previous tag and the new one, then AI writes a structured draft you can review and edit before publishing.

Yes. Connect the repo and Yanib will write a story per release tag. If you use scoped tags (e.g. @app/v1.2.0), all commits in that tag range are included.

Yanib listens for GitHub Release events. You can create a release from any tag in the GitHub UI or API. Plain tags without a release won't trigger generation.

When you hit Publish, Yanib updates the GitHub Release body, sends notifications to linked Slack/Discord channels, emails subscribers, and updates your public story page and embeddable widgets, all at once.

Yes. Go to your repo's Share tab to set a custom accent color, logo, and header text. The page is SEO friendly and includes an RSS feed automatically.

Add one script tag to your site: <script src="https://yanib.dev/sdk.js"></script>. Then use web components like <yanib-stories>, <yanib-banner>, <yanib-notifications>, or <yanib-feed> anywhere in your HTML.

The standard Free entitlement covers one connected repository. You can enable same-repository PR review on GitHub and use release communication. Cross-repository evaluation needs multiple connected repositories through a Pro plan. See Pricing for the current options; no credit card is required to start.

Contact support@yanib.dev for plan changes or help exporting your data. You can disconnect repositories or delete your account. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy; copies already published to other services follow those services’ controls.

Yes. Yanib supports Google sign in and email OTP (one time password). If you sign in with Google or email, you can connect your GitHub account later from Settings to enable repo features.

Create a team, invite members by email, and assign roles. Owners have full control, Admins can manage repos and members, Members can view and edit stories. Teams have their own plan.

Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. For now, disconnect the repo from your personal account and reconnect it under the team context.
